This collection is an upward spiral. Each piece is about an important moment of healing. As per the human experience, grief or pain has often pointed me to the medicine, the healing, the awakening. “Mutatiophilia” is a word I made up to represent my love for the process of transformation. It’s messy, uncomfortable, painful and glorious. It happens again and again, but better every time. Thus, the upward spiral.
